Dude, I'm in the same situation. But my case is a little different, maybe. I live in Brazil and my father bought his VAIO long ago in the US, the fact is I need the BIOS password in order to start android development, activate VT-x, but I just don't have access to the BIOS of the computer. Someone help please!
Hello,
I recently formatted my Sony Vaio and now is not working anymore the HDMI port. I believe it is a problem of drivers. I have never changed anything since I bought it, so the hardware is like brend-new.
Can someone give me some clue? or give me the link of the drivers?
Thank you in advance,
Regards
Riccardo
Looking to upgrade RAM and SSD Drive on VPCZ21AGX - I understand there should not be any issue with upgrading the SSD Drive, however I cannot find compatible RAM for this model bought in December 2011. Help? Suggestions?

Hi Riccardo,
Welcome to Sony Community!
How did you format your laptop? Was the HDMI port working before you format it? What is the current operating system installed? Since the VPCEB3L1E is a non-US model, you may visit the link below to look for the compatible driver.

Hi,
Sony Vaio posted an update for the bios regarding overheating issues back in 2010. I want to install the update but it won't run on windows 10. Any solution?

Hi there!
What maximum size of RAM can I use with this laptop? Should it be sinchronized?
Thanks for answers!
VGN-Z570N Win10
Hi Riccardo,
If the issue happened after you format the system then it could be a compatibility issue. You may go to the website that I've provided to look for a driver for your HDMI port under Windows 7 operating system. And also, install all the updates for your laptop.
We have limited information about this model so we strongly suggest visiting the link below for further assistance.

Had updated the original Sony Vaio from Windows 9.1 to Windows 10 few weeks back.
Recently updated the HDD to an SSD and was advised to do a BIOS update.
Found BIOS from Sony support website - file name - EP0000325127.exe
Update worked fine till the BIOS update reacehd 99% - then Laptop suddenly powered off. Since then, turning on the Laptop shows error message right after the "VAIO" screen -
error message says
"No Operating System Found"
Seems BIOS update got screwed up.
Have tried "Assist" button, tried F2, F10 etc
all key press shows another line of "No Operating System Found"
Need help on how to flash BIOS without Exe file - maybe from a USB bootable drive?
Please advice ...
